Rocky cliff overhang covered in green trees and shrubs under a blue sky.

So happy we found this beautiful RV park. The owners are wonderful people and so helpful. Everything is so clean and pristine. Lots are paved and level. You have your own fire ring, picnic table and Adirondack chairs. The views are beautiful. Oh and a bonus pickleball court. This is the nicest RV park I’ve been to. We will definitely be back.

Formerly the Backdrop For The Tombstone Junction

Cumberland Falls RV is located on the historic grounds of what was once Tombstone Junction, a Western-themed attraction that played a significant role in southeastern Kentucky’s entertainment history.

This former amusement park was a beloved regional destination, where famous country music performers regularly took the stage, making it a cultural landmark for fans of the genre. The site also included an abandoned water park, adding to its once-vibrant atmosphere and local appeal.

Today, while the rides and shows are gone, the legacy remains—a piece of Kentucky's past where music, community, and storytelling once brought people together. Staying here places guests in direct connection with that history, offering a meaningful layer to their visit just steps from the natural beauty of Cumberland Falls.

Tombstone Junction featured a heritage railroad known as the Old Number 77, where visitors rode a full-size train through the park as part of its Old West theme. The train experience was central to the attraction, combining scenic rides with staged entertainment for guests.
